My name is Melissa Mathieu and is an illustrator and graphic designer. My own style includes mainly incorporating black girls pastel colors and '' cute'' look. Wanting to see myself represented in art growing up, my illustrations mainly include drawings of black girls in settings with soft aesthetics to deconstruct the myth of the ''strong black woman''.
